David Clayton has been talking into microphones since 1971. At first on stages and in Clubs, then from the mid-seventies, on the radio. His professional broadcasting career started at BBC Radio Norfolk, progressed to BBC Radio 4 with television continuity, news reading and programme presenting along the way.  He was the Editor of BBC Radio Norfolk from 1998 to 2016 but always stayed on air as a regular presenter too. More recently he’s been touring the BBC’s Local Radio stations coaching the on-air talent and running various leadership training courses. He’s just gone back on air at the BBC presenting a late-night regional radio programme.
