Clare Precey is a former national BBC radio reporter, presenter and producer. Clare edited the Newsbeat programmes on Radio One during the Iraq War of 2003, and was the BBC Radio One newsreader on the day of the terrorist attacks of September 11th 2001. She has worked as a presenter and reporter for local BBC and commercial radio stations in London, and worked for the BBC’s senior radio news management team during and after the Hutton inquiry into the death of the weapons inspector, Dr David Kelly.  Clare holds the NCTJ certificate and a post-graduate certificate in Higher Education. She is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  For three years she presented a current affairs and politics programme for Mustard TV in Norwich and she now produces and presents the podcast ‘Politics at the Edge’. She has been teaching journalism since 2008.
