Storm Babet hit the Norfolk village of Hemsby just a day after locals were told there would be no more money for coastal defences. Gale-force winds of 50mph battered the coastline and around four metres of the coastline was claimed by the sea. Joshua Gregory-Barnes went to see for himself:
