Great Yarmouth’s fly-tipping problem: A closer look

Fly-tipping continues to be a big issue around the country, with 1.09 million incidents reported in England during 2021-2022.

One area where the problem is particularly bad is in the seaside town of Great Yarmouth.

But the town council is trying to combat the issue – by employing ‘environmental rangers’, to investigate and deal with reports of fly-tipping along with issuing fixed penalty notices.
