The Met Office has issued thunderstorm warnings in Norwich for the 3rd time this week.
A yellow warning was put in place across the county, with expected heavy down pours and flash flooding.

The Met Office released:
- Over the last 24 hours – Rain gauge of 10-15ml in Norwich
- 20-25ml at Norwich Train Station
Norwich Cathedral’s main entrance was blocked due to flooding, causing disruption to many visitors.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service arrived at Norwich Cathedral around 12.30pm to help with the flash flooding.

Workers and staff were seen in wellies trying to block the flash flooding with sandbags and barriers.
Only the main entrance to the Cathedral was affected, with other areas of flooding within the grounds.
According to the Met Office it is expected to be the last day of thunderstorms in Norwich.
Locals and holidaymakers took cover under shops, archways and trees to get away from the heavy rain.
