
The first ever Olympic eSports Series is in qualifying stages ahead of next month’s finals in Singapore.
None of the usual triple-A games associated with eSports have been included. Instead, the International Olympic Committee opted for games mimicking real-life sports.
This has left professional players “confused” and caused some backlash in the community.
