Nurses strike to be cut short after court ruling

A 48-hour strike by nurses in England will be cut short by a day.

High court ruled it was partly unlawful.

The walkout will involve NHS nurses in emergency departments, intensive care and cancer wards.

Nurses have already walked out twice this year, and are set to walk out this bank holiday weekend.

Strikes are due to a row over pay by the Royal college of nursing, starting on Sunday.
