Would you give ballet a go for men’s mental health?
At the University of East Anglia, the ballet club is holding classes encouraging men to get involved.
The classes are raising money for Movember – a campaign to improve men’s mental health – and aiming to get more boys in dance.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.
So far, UEA Ballet’s Movember campaign has raised over £1000, and has been raising awareness for men’s mental health.
