Norwich’s first ever Ukrainian art exhibition

The Anteros Arts Foundation on Rye Bridge Street is holding the city’s first Ukrainian art exhibition until Saturday 22nd October.

It is raising money for humanitarian aid during the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine and it aims to showcase the historical links between the UK and Kyiv.

Iryna Forostyan is the organiser of the exhibition and a Ukrainian refugee who has volunteered for the past eight years.

She said: “All these donations go to our country – to the children, for the rehabilitation of injured soldiers and people as well – because war doesn’t choose who to hurt.”

Over 6,300 unarmed civilians have been killed in the war so far, according to recent data from Statista.
