A Norfolk man has been banned from entering his home town as part of his bail conditions.

Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court adjourned sentencing on Lee Cutler, 37, of Diprose Drive, Lowestoft.

Today, Cutler confirmed to the court that he had pleaded guilty and been convicted of beating his former partner Laura Loveridge.

He also admitted assault, criminal damage, theft of a car and stealing a child’s phone at a previous hearing.

Cutler was also placed under a restraining order, which stipulated that he must not contact his ex-partner directly or indirectly, and from visiting Ms Loveridge’s known addresses.

Mr Cutler’s sentencing has been postponed until next month.
