Four people from Long Stratton FC have completed a mammoth 100km walk in order to raise money for the community club.

Long Stratton FC relies on donations to keep their club running and to pay for their teams – including their male 1st team, female teams and even a walking football team.
Paul, Kayls, Ben and Skip completed the 100km walk from Wells-next-the-sea to Long Stratton on Saturday (14th May 2022) in under 24 hours.

The Long Stratton Strollers walked along the coastal path and then along Marriott’s Way.
Paul Simmons, who is the club’s chairman, said after the walk “we have raised an amazing amount of money for our club. It’s been a really hard journey and an emotional journey. But I couldn’t think of 3 better people to do it with”.

They have raised over £2500 so far.
Here’s how they got on….
