Norwich will face high flying Chelsea this evening at Carrow Road. The Norfolk side are looking to get revenge after losing seven nil in the reverse fixture from earlier on in the season.

ITV Anglia Sports Editor, Donovan Blake, believes that although Norwich claim to be more “defensively sound” under boss Dean Smith, Donovan hasn’t seen any evidence to prove that.
“If they are defensively sound, why are they still conceding goals? Without Billy Gilmore in the team (due to the loan regulations) makes it a tougher ask, they could really have done with that talent in their ranks tonight.”
Norwich haven’t won in six games now and are bottom of the Premier League five points from safety, with teams above them having games in hand.
“To still be in touching distance anything can happen…it’s a tall order but a win can change everything can’t it?”
The game comes on the day that Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has had sanctions imposed by the UK government.
This means that the sale of the club will now be put on hold and Chelsea’s financial future are in doubt. Chelsea have been granted a special licence that will allow them to fulfil their fixtures, but they cannot sign players, renew existing playing contracts or operate on a commercial level.

Chelsea can only spend £20000 on away travel, which puts European away fixtures in doubt. So fingers crossed for Norwich that the Chelsea players have something on there mind and Norwich take full advantage.
