Since the UK chose to leave the European Union the future of Britain in the world has seemed uncertain. What will our global role be, post-Brexit?
Ben Donaldson, Head of Campaigns at UN Association UK, speaking as part of the UEA’s ‘Global Britain:Beyond Brexit’ series explored how the country’s role has changed globally and what Britain’s global role could become in the future.
Speaking to UEA journalism he said that the UK was “shooting itself in the foot” with some aspects of it’s foreign policy. He believes the UK has been “haemorrhaging credibility” in the wider world, and needs to be more consistent and do more to help refugees.
